We predominantly sell contemporary and classic fiction, crime fiction, signed first editions, special editions, Folio Society, children’s, poetry and drama. In our smaller room, we sell non-fiction, including history, military history, local history, economics, philosophy, feminism, music and politics. We do not sell health, wellbeing, sport, transport, gardening.   Only a selection of our antiquarian and special editions are kept in the shop. If you see something online which you would like to view in the shop, please let us know a little in advance.

We buy most of our stock, though some people prefer to give us books.
